Originally from Amarillo, Ryan S. Turley, M.D. is a native Texan. He graduated from Duke University of Medicine in Durham North Carolina where he obtained his medical degree. He then completed his general surgery internship, residency, and vascular fellowship at Duke University Medical Center. Dr. Turley is board certified in general surgery by the American Board of Surgery and specializes in all areas of endovascular and vascular surgery.
He has been practicing in Austin since 2017 and his areas of special interests include treatment for varicose veins and complex venous issues, advanced endovascular techniques for limb salvage, complex aortic aneurysm repair, and clinical outcomes research.
Dr. Turley has authored more than 50 manuscripts and has given several presentations at national surgical meetings. He is a member of the Society of Vascular Surgery, the Southern Association for Vascular Surgery, Society for Clinical Vascular Surgery, and Vascular and Endovascular Surgery Society, as well as the Travis County Medical Society.

These are absolutely the best most focused surgeons I have dealt with in my 35 years as a nurse as a patient. I trust them implicitly every single one my first contact with this group was Dr. Stephen Settle. My second contact was with several others in the group. Dr. Turley comes personally recommended by my Cardiologist who is the head of Cardiology at Seton Williamson Hospital. My Cardioligist has treated me since 2013 and saved my life numerous times. He is the best in Austin. He has recomended but two other Cardio specialist. The first Dr. Heinzman a electrocardiologist. Dr. Heinzman performed a flawless ablation on my heart in 2017. No more AFib. Dr. Heinzman is young, brilliant and personable. His peers recommend him. So too is Dr. Turley. Young, brilliant, terrific bedside manner, and endorsed just not by the best, but his peers. They all say he is a Dr's Doctor, a Surgeons' Surgeon.
