Dr. Jeff Apple is originally from Dallas, TX. He completed medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio and his general surgery residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.
Dr. Apple then served four years in the United States Navy where he served as a staff surgeon at the Naval Medical Center San Diego. During his time in the Navy he was deployed twice to the Persian Gulf in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
He completed his Vascular Surgery fellowship at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, TX and is board-certified in vascular surgery. Dr. Apple is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and an active member of the Society of Vascular Surgery as well as the American Venous Forum. He has received numerous teaching awards and published several papers in the field of vascular surgery. Dr. Apple currently serves as past president of the Travis County Medical Society.
Dr. Apple has been practicing with VeinSolutions and Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgeons since 2009. He specializes in all treatments for varicose veins and in the treatment of complex deep venous disorders including IVC filter removal and vena cava interventions.
