We participate in most major health insurance plans, including Medicare. (We do not take Workman’s Comp or Medicaid). Please check with your insurance provider at the outset of treatment to ensure that you have coverage for treatment (and at what level) and to be sure that we are listed as a provider with your plan. Confirming coverage is the patient’s responsibility.
To avoid unpleasant and expensive surprises, we strongly encourage our patients to carefully research the specific provisions of their health insurance coverage. (Contact the customer service number listed on your insurance card.) Insurers typically deny coverage if you do not meet their provisions. We are always happy to do whatever we can to help ensure that our patients’ treatment is covered. However, it is the patient’s responsibility to know the specific requirements for coverage, and to inform our office of all special requirements.
Our office is also happy to help patients by submitting insurance claims. Your insurance company may request additional information from you before processing payment.
Method of Payment
All insurance co-payments are due at the time of treatment. You will be sent a monthly bill for additional balances due, including portions not covered by your insurance company.
